TAWoG: The Doll (Ch 1)After the whole Santa fiasco, the Wattersons had a half-decent Christmas. On Christmas morning, they opened their gifts. Nicole got her present early (those little toys that represented her family) Anais got a Daisy the Donkey tea set, Darwin got a new fishbowl, and Richard got tickets to a wrestling match.
"Come on, Gumball! open it!!" Anais squealed. 
"Okay..." Gumball carefully tore off the paper. "What the..." he got a miniature doll of himself. He stared at the doll in confusion. There was a note attatched to it's ear.
"Gumball," Gumball read the note out loud. "I know it isn't exactly what you wanted, but we were all out of the Alligators on a Train sequal DVDs. Be warned: strange and dangerous things happen when this doll is around. Keep it in a cage at sunset, and release it at sunrise. If you follow these instructions, everything will be fine. The cage is hidden somewhere in your room. Find it before sunset. Sincerely, Santa"
"Ehm....okay...Darwin, lets find that cage." G
Not as it Seems (Part One)"AHH!" Gumball Watterson screamed, shooting up from his bed, sweating and trembling. His brother, Darwin, snapped awake and got up out of his fishbowl. "Dude...this is the fifth time this week. Will you PLEASE tell me what is happening in your nightmares?" he said
"No...no, you'll think it's silly." Gumball hesitated, but then said, "Alright...so there was this new girl, and her family was totally nuts. I fell for her, but her family didn't like me, and they tried to-" Gumball stopped. Darwin had already fallen back asleep. 
"When will this end?" Gumball sighed and drifted to sleep. 
The next morning, Anais shook the boys awake to get ready for school. They quickly got ready and ran downstairs for breakfast. Soon after, they got on the bus to soon come a cross a beautiful, yet unfortunate surprise.
A girl, a pink cat, walked onto the bus and flipped her soft, blond hair. Her pretty blue eyes glistened in the sunlight. Gumball's mouth fell open at the sight of her.

Who knows. Might be a nickname. In the wiki it says "Gumball 'Tristopher' Watterson"
Maybe Tristopher is his real name, but never uses it, and Gumball was just something he randomly thought of. But maybe not. Just an idea
